The possibilities for getting on the radio have expanded vastly since the 1980s and 1990s when Said Liquidator originally released their recordings.  The 2011 issue of the 'Said Liquidator Anthology 1987-1991' has gained airplay on some of the stations set up more recently.  BBC Radio remains beyond the band's reach!

DON CAMPAU'S 'NO PIGEONHOLES' on RADIO MARABU et al
Throughout the month of October 2011, Don Campau played Said Liquidator'The Only Colour' (from CD) was on his 'No Pigeonholes' show broadcast on KKUP-FM.

The show is available as a podcast for streaming or download. It includes lots of good indie bands and artists of many genres. 

No Pigeonholes is a programme of underground, independent and home recorded music presented on several different stations. Radio Marabu hosts the European Edition, KKUP broadcasts the show to the San Francisco and Monterey Bay Areas and the www.luver.com plays the show every Tuesday night at 8pm Pacific Time.  Each show features different material.

The Overflow started life as a pirate radio station in December 1986. Since then it's gone through many transformations and in 2001 was re-created as an official radio show and is now aired on many legal stations around the world.

Currently, The Overflow can be heard via Radio Seagull 1602AM (based in Harlingen, The Netherlands), River Gibbs FM (based in Surrey, UK) and also via our official website, where various streams are available.

SIMON McKAY'S 'POST PUNK BRITAIN' on BREAK LONDON
Predictably, Simon McKay featured his own band Said Liquidator and regularly played 'How To Smile' throughout August and September on his show, 'Post Punk Britain'.

Post Punk Britain features the best UK music from the late 70s and early 80s and a peppering of Jamaican reggae from the same era. The show broadcasts at 10pm on Tuesdays and repeats at the same time on Saturday and Sunday nights.
